Privacy notice
Last updated: 11 October 2026
VegGies is a game for the whole family, children included, so we keep this simple: the game and this website do not collect personal data about you. This notice explains what that means in practice.
The game
- There are no accounts, no sign-in and no chat. Players are just numbered ("Player 1"), and no one types their name.
- Your settings (language, volumes, the last match you set up, whether you finished the tutorial) and a replay of your last match are saved only on your own device - in the browser's storage for the web version. You can delete them by clearing the browser's site data or uninstalling the game.
- The game shows no ads, uses no analytics or tracking, and sends nothing about you anywhere.
- The test version of the game is played on itch.io; there, itch.io's own privacy policy applies to the site itself.
This website
- No cookies, no analytics, no tracking pixels, no fonts or scripts loaded from other companies.
- Like every website, the server that delivers these pages may keep short technical logs (such as the IP address and the time of a visit) to keep the site secure and working. We do not use them to identify anyone.
- If you email us, we use your message only to answer it and delete it when it is no longer needed.
Children
The game is designed so that children can play it safely: no personal data, no chat with strangers, no ads, and nothing for sale that would not show its real price.
When this changes
Online play, player profiles and in-game purchases are planned for later. Before any of them arrives, we will update this notice - stating exactly what is collected, why, for how long and where - and the game will ask where it must (for example, a parent's consent for young players).
Your rights and contact
Under the GDPR you may ask what data we hold about you, and have it corrected or deleted. Write to info@veggiesgame.com. If you think we handle data wrongly, you can also complain to a data protection authority - in Hungary, the NAIH.
